I’ve been writing online for six years now.
Well, that’s a lie. I dabbled in some blogging over ten years ago when I was newly married. The internet back then was the wild wild west. Keywords were thrown everywhere, stuffed in posts and in URLs, and it was not unheard of to make a product niche site like zebra print rugs (dot com).
But, I found writing about different products boring and moved on with my life and started university and working with children with autism.
I learned that I loved helping others and teaching.
If you don’t already know, those successful blogs and people you learned about as a budding blogger— Amy Porterfield, Alex & Lauren, Tony Robbins, etc.— you would be surprised to learn that they failed before they saw success.
Here’s an example from Alex and Lauren of Create and Go (just so you know they earn around $100,000 per month) and their journey to success. On their about page, they chronicle their journey to six figures and mention their first blog failed, miserably.

The problem is, I…
learn what a freelance writer & blogger is doing for 2021
Over on my Youtube channel, I shared my writing goals and was surprised by how many encouraged me to accomplish them, but particularly one writing goal I “threw” out in the ethers of a Youtube live discussion.
I’ve been freelance writing and blogging since 2014, and I know over the years I’ve improved my writing skills and knowledge within my niche. I’ve even ventured out of my writing niche to learn new topics and new industries. …
I started blogging almost seven years ago, but it wasn’t until the last four years that I saw the potential of working from home for good. That was also the time my husband realized it and decided to join my business, and help me run it.
For many new bloggers the idea of making your first $1,000 from your blog is a gigantic feat, but I want to talk to those that are already making money blogging but want to double their income or scale their business.
So, how will I go from $20k/month to hopefully $50k/month from blogging?Let’s …
