Trying to Rank My Writer Website
it’s a long uphill battle
For the past few weeks, I’ve been working on ranking my writer website Innovative Ink for my SaaS writing service.
It’s on a .CA domain and not a .COM domain, making it very difficult to rank. I don’t rank even in Canada for top 3.
So, I decided to do a few things to get my name out there or grow my brand, which will elevate my writing services (maybe).
1. Started Writing about My Niche on LinkedIn
I created two articles and published them on LinkedIn about my niche: SaaS writing.
- Content writing for SaaS brands
- How SaaS writers can create BoFu content
Doing this served two purposes:
- Reach or attract businesses in my niche. I also linked to businesses I want to write for.
- Has the potential to rank better on Google since LinkedIn has a higher domain rating and better reputation than my writer website.
2. I created a Youtube video About SaaS writing
I thought, why not? I can tell the Google gods what I’m about and Youtube is another way to rank in Google.
