I bet you’ve been reading tons of Medium posts and blog posts about either becoming a freelance writer or what to do to make more money.

I’ve been freelance writing since 2014, when my twins were toddlers. They are 8 years old now and during that time I learned all about making money online as a freelance writer. At one time I was juggling 5 clients and two blogs. Each client either wanted ad hoc content or a blog post once a week or twice a week.

I also had my own two blogs — Elna Cain and Twins Mommy — where I needed to create more content as a way to grow my income and business.

So, how was I able to keep all five clients extremely happy and still have time to blog and connect with a new audience?

It was simple. I learned to type faster.

Once I typed faster I gained more clients which lead to more money for my freelance business. On Twins Mommy, by providing consistent blog posts, I grew my email list and earned income with affiliate marketing.

What does it mean to type faster? A typical blog post of 1500 words for a client or for my brand takes me around an hour and a half. And it’s a completed post, edited and with graphics. If you want to make more money here is my process to type faster.
